Meet Shannon

Hi, I’m Shannon—the heart behind TheShannyKate Style. I’m a proud mom to three incredible teen girls, and much of what I create is inspired by the joy, chaos, and beauty of family life. Based in Michigan, I’ve always loved making our home feel like a cozy retreat, full of warmth, personality, and little details that make ordinary days feel special.

My journey into sharing home décor, seasonal styling, DIYs, and lifestyle content grew from the simple love of creating spaces that feel inviting. I believe that design doesn’t have to be intimidating; it can be approachable, personal, and simple. Whether it’s rearranging a shelf for a fresh look, putting together seasonal décor that sets the mood, or tackling a fun DIY project, I want to show that small, thoughtful changes can bring so much joy into everyday living.

Being a mom is the most important part of who I am, and I often weave our family life into what I share. TheShannyKate Style is really about more than décor or style, it’s about cultivating a life filled with beauty, connection, and heart.
