Game day hosting just leveled UP. This DIY Snack Stadium is the ultimate centerpiece for the Big Game. Itâs perfect for chips, dips, wings, drinks, and all the snacks your crowd expects. It looks impressive, but itâs totally doable with basic tools and a little patience. Letâs build it. đ¨ Save this post so you have the measurement.
đ ď¸ Materials List
⢠(1) 2â x 4â sheet of Âźâ sanded plywood
⢠(2) 8â 1âx6â clear pine boards
⢠(1) 3â 1âx2â board
⢠(1) 24â x 6â chalkboard
⢠Wood glue
⢠Brad nailer
đş 1x6 Octagon Surround
⢠All cuts are 22.5° miter cuts
⢠Measurements are long-to-long (measure from long point to long point)
Cut:
⢠(2) pieces at 18.5â
⢠(2) pieces at 12â
⢠(4) pieces at 8 5/8â
đ Glue and nail the mitered ends together to form the octagon.
â 1x4 Rectangular Center
Cut:
⢠(2) pieces at 12â
⢠(2) pieces at 16.5â
đ Glue and nail together to create the rectangular center section.
đŞ Assembly
1. Place the assembled octagon on the plywood, trace it, and cut it out.
2. Glue and nail the plywood base to the bottom of the octagon.
3. Center the rectangular piece inside the octagon, then glue and nail it in place.
â Dividers
⢠Use leftover 1x6 boards
⢠Space them out however you like to create snack sections
⢠Cut to size, use a straight edge to mark the angle, then attach to the inner and outer walls with glue and nails.
đ Scoreboard
⢠Cut the 1x2 in half to create two vertical posts
⢠Attach the 24â x 6â chalkboard
⢠Center it on the outside of the octagon and screw it into place
đ Final Touch
These measurements allow room for a field-style cutting board in the center. Add your food, drinks, and team spirit. There you have it. Youâre game-day ready. đ
