Napkin DIY Vase

DIYed this vase into a designer dupe 👀✨

For this creative project, I began with a plain clear vase and transformed this simple glass piece into something extraordinary. I first applied a coat of cover spray paint. This step was crucial, as it provided a fresh base and allowed for a more vibrant and cohesive look. After the spray paint dried, I used Mod Podge to adhere the decorative elements securely. This versatile adhesive not only helps in sticking the materials together but also adds a protective layer over the surface, ensuring durability and longevity for my design.

The centerpiece of this project was the use of a simple napkin DIY as the cover design. I chose pink plaid napkins, and carefully cut and placed the napkin pieces onto the vase. The transformation was not only visually appealing but also deeply satisfying, as I could create something beautiful and unique.

This DIY project turned out to be an adorable inspired version that I am incredibly proud of. It serves as a perfect example of how creativity and resourcefulness can lead to stunning results in home decor without breaking the bank.

Supplies used:

  1. pink plaid napkins - These provided the perfect pattern and color to mimic the designer look.

  2. rust-oleum cover spray - This high-quality spray paint was essential for achieving an even and smooth finish on the vase.

  3. glass vase - The base of my project, which I selected for its simple shape that would highlight the decorative elements.

  4. mod podge - A crucial component for adhering the napkin and sealing the finished design for durability.

  5. foam paint brush - This tool made it easy to apply the Mod Podge evenly without creating brush strokes.
