The Simple Hosting Hack I’m Doing for the 4th of July

My guests aren’t digging through drawers for toilet paper this weekend. 👀🇺🇸
I wanted our guest bathroom to feel a little more styled and intentional for Memorial Day weekend, without spending a lot or overcomplicating anything. So instead of hiding extra toilet paper rolls under the sink or stuffing them in drawers, I wrapped them in festive patriotic napkins.
And honestly… it turned into one of the cutest little hosting hacks.
Not only does it make extra rolls easy for guests to grab when needed, but it also keeps the bathroom looking clean, organized, and thoughtfully styled instead of cluttered. It gives the space that elevated hosting feel with almost no effort at all.
I love little details like this because they make your home feel more welcoming during parties, cookouts, lake weekends, and holiday gatherings. It’s practical, affordable, and takes less than a minute to do.
This is also one of those easy tricks that works for so many occasions:
Memorial Day parties
Fourth of July hosting
Summer lake house weekends
Backyard BBQs
Guest bathrooms
Pool house bathrooms
Cabin or cottage hosting
You can match the napkins to any holiday, color scheme, or party aesthetic to make it feel custom to your space.
How To Do It
Take a roll of toilet paper.
Wrap a festive paper napkin around the center.
Tuck or tape the back lightly if needed.
Stack them in a basket, tray, or directly on the bathroom counter.
That’s it.
It instantly looks more polished while still being functional for guests.
Supplies Used

Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference when hosting. This one is simple, inexpensive, and makes your bathroom feel styled instead of overlooked.
